The incident occurred on May 28 in the Volta Region. Destiny had travelled to Ghana for his education, but a dispute over alleged misappropriated funds turned deadly.
A 19-year-old Nigerian artiste, Destiny, was allegedly beaten to death on May 28 in the Volta Region of Ghana over a financial dispute. According to sources, Destiny was accused by a fellow Nigerian based in Ghana—who had helped facilitate his relocation—of diverting funds from a business venture.
The suspect, accompanied by two others, reportedly stormed Destiny’s apartment and assaulted him when he failed to provide satisfactory answers. Destiny succumbed to his injuries shortly after the attack.
“Destiny went to Ghana to further his education, and the travel was facilitated by someone he called his street brother,” a source revealed. “They accused him of diverting some funds,the beating was so intense that he gave up the ghost.”
His lifeless body was discovered days later after the police were alerted. No arrests have been made.
In a video obtained by PUNCH Metro, Destiny said, “I am Destiny and I am a streamer from Nigeria. I am also an artiste and a gamer.”
