Nigerians with strong travel records can now obtain five-year multiple-entry Schengen visas covering 29 European countries.
Nigerians can now apply for a five-year multiple-entry Schengen visa granting access to 29 European countries, according to new travel guidelines. The visa allows holders to visit any Schengen member state multiple times within five years, provided each stay does not exceed 90 days in any 180-day period.
Designed for frequent travellers, professionals, and those with credible travel histories, the visa eliminates repeated applications and reduces processing costs. However, approval remains at the discretion of embassies and consulates. Eligible applicants are typically individuals who have held a multiple-entry Schengen visa for two consecutive years within the last three, travelled regularly, and maintained compliance with immigration laws.
Applicants must submit a cover letter justifying long-term travel, proof of financial stability, and valid Schengen travel insurance. The 29 participating countries include France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, and 24 others across Europe.
