Lawmaker Natasha Osaworu, fiancée of singer 2Baba, introduced herself as “née Idibia” during a plenary session at the Edo State House of Assembly, drawing laughter from colleagues. The remark highlighted her connection to the music star, whose real name is Innocent Idibia.
Osaworu, a PDP member representing Egor constituency, said, “My name is Honourable Natasha Irobosa Osaworu, née Idibia,” before delivering her speech. The reference to 2Baba’s surname amused fellow lawmakers, as the couple’s relationship is widely known. Meanwhile, her political standing shifted after four PDP members defected to the APC, costing the party its majority.
