In a preview of an upcoming episode of the +234 Mzansi Podcast—co-hosted by Nedu, Acapella, and South African personality Kifilwe—the ‘African Queen’ singer described the relationship as deeply suffocating.
“This thing wey dem call ‘living in bondage’ is real. There were some people who were ready to kill me,” 2Face said when asked about the failed marriage.
2Face and Annie tied the knot in May 2012 and share two daughters, Isabella and Olivia. On January 26, 2025, the artist publicly confirmed their separation through a controversial social media post.
Shortly after, he was seen with his new partner, Natasha Osawuru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, fueling widespread speculation about his personal life.
