I was abducted in Abuja by gun wielding thugs on the instructions of Seyi Tinubu and Ladoja Olusola. I was beaten, subjected to the most cruel and dehumanising treatments, my clothes torn to shreds and stripped naked.
Comrade Atiku Abubakar Isah, President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), has alleged that Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, and factional leader Ladoja Olusola masterminded his abduction by armed thugs in Abuja. In a statement to SaharaReporters, Atiku claimed he was beaten, stripped naked, and forced to record an “involuntary statement” at NTA, asserting that Seyi Tinubu had targeted him since his election as NANS president.
Despite filing multiple petitions with security agencies over death threats, Atiku said no action was taken. He thanked students and the media for their support, declaring: “No amount of intimidation will make us capitulate.” The NANS president pledged to continue advocating for students’ rights despite the alleged political persecution.
