Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers invaded the home of Pius Friday in Uloke community, Etsako West LGA of Edo State around 1am on Monday, killing him and abducting his pregnant wife and her sister. Eyewitnesses said the assailants attacked while the family was asleep. “People heard gunshots around the deceased’s house, but were scared to come out,” a resident said.

We are living in fear every day,” one protester, Rashidetu, lamented.
