Jonathan Nalebo, a prominent Ugandan pastor, has publicly taken responsibility for the collapse of his marriage, confessing he fell short of his wife Enid’s moral standards.
Ugandan preacher Jonathan Nalebo has stunned social media after announcing his separation from his wife of seven years, Enid Mirembe, citing her “perfection” as a key factor. In an emotional Facebook post on April 16, Nalebo admitted he “mishandled the treasure” his wife was and failed to honor her values. The couple, once admired for their devout relationship, mutually agreed to part ways for “peace and healing.”
“Enid is an incredible woman. In many ways, she was too perfect for me to keep up with… I failed to fully honor the values she carried,” Nalebo wrote. He acknowledged his shortcomings as a spiritual leader, attributing their split to a lack of vigilance against “the enemy’s” attempts to sow division.
