People may assume that he stacked the house of cardinals, but he also discouraged and limited cardinals gathering together – both informally and at consistories – so they do not really have working relationships. This may work in favour of the conservatives.
Credit where it is due, Pope Francis cared about the corporal works of mercy. Let us pray for a pope who cares equally about the spiritual works of mercy. 🙏
A good, traditionalist pope could return many souls to the Catholic Church; A move away from modernity and back towards sound teaching; A pontiff who sees the transcendent beautify of the Mass of the Ages could bring a new age of spiritual growth to the Church.
May the Holy Spirit be present at the next conclave, and may liberal conspirators be convicted and silenced. For the sake of the Kingdom.
