The projects in question are real and tangible evidence of the government’s commitment to improving the lives of Nasarawa residents.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State has dismissed allegations by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) regarding President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s planned visit to commission projects in May 2025. In a statement signed by APC Publicity Secretary High Chief Douglas Otaru, the party labeled the PDP’s claims of incomplete or refurbished projects as “blatant falsehood” and “propaganda.”
Otaru emphasized, “The projects in question are real and tangible evidence of the government’s commitment to improving the lives of Nasarawa residents.”
The PDP had previously alleged that some projects, like the Lafia underpass and Shendam Road, were either incomplete or previously commissioned by former President Buhari. Otaru dismissed these claims as “utterly ridiculous,” urging citizens to disregard the accusations.
President Tinubu is expected to commission several key projects, including a new secretariat complex, marking his second anniversary in office.
