President Bola Tinubu on Monday met with the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, and the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting comes amid growing concerns over insecurity in several parts of the country, including recent attacks in Plateau and Benue states.

Although details of the meeting were not disclosed, sources say it focused on strategies to curb violence and improve national security.

“The President is deeply concerned about the security situation and is working closely with security agencies to restore peace,” a presidency source said.
