Despite the gravity of the allegations, staff members said Ejezie has been released, fueling concerns that Access Bank may avoid pursuing legal action to “protect its brand.”
Stephen Ifeanyichukwu Ejezie, a former quality assurance specialist at Access Bank’s contact centre in Oniru, Lagos, has been accused of secretly recording over 400 videos of his colleagues in the restroom.
Sources told FIJ that Ejezie was caught early Wednesday morning hiding a camera in the female restroom. After his arrest and a raid of his home, hundreds of explicit videos were reportedly discovered on his devices.
“He was found when a lady taking her bath noticed a phone recording her from the toilet cubicle,” a witness said.
Despite the gravity of the allegations, staff members said Ejezie has been released, fueling concerns that Access Bank may avoid pursuing legal action to “protect its brand.”
“He sells them online,” a source alleged, citing sales through OnlyFans and Telegram.
Staff told FIJ that management’s response, including a new ban on overnight shifts, has deepened fears the scandal may be covered up without justice or support for affected workers.
