“All these allegations by Atiku Isah are completely fictional,” Seyi Tinubu says.
Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has denied allegations by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) President, Comrade Atiku Abubakar Isah, over a violent incident at the NANS inauguration event in Abuja.
Isah claimed thugs loyal to Seyi stormed the venue with cutlasses and firearms, injuring attendees and forcing dignitaries like Senator Ibrahim Shekarau and ex-Governor Idris Wada to flee. He described it as “a calculated move aimed at preventing me from leading NANS.”
Reacting via Instagram, Seyi dismissed the allegations as “baseless” and “defamatory,” stating:
“I have never held a meeting to discuss any subject matter with Comrade Isah in Lagos or anywhere else in the world.”
“I have never knowingly met him before. Neither did I visit any location with thugs. All these allegations by Atiku Isah are completely fictional.”
“Wow! how can someone lie with so much confidence? An attempt to defame any character.”
