The Emir of Gwoza, HRH Alhaji Mohammed Shehu Timta, confirmed the Wednesday 1am attack, revealing troops and local vigilantes neutralized three terrorists and recovered 10 motorcycles during the counter-operation. “Our gallant troops… killed three terrorists who abandoned their weapons,” the monarch stated, noting security forces are pursuing fleeing attackers.
