Activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has stated that VeryDarkMan’s phone and car are yet to be released to him despite being granted bail.
Social media critic VeryDarkMan remains without his phone and car despite being granted bail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), his lawyer Deji Adeyanju disclosed Thursday. The activist was detained last Friday after visiting GTBank with his mother over an alleged unauthorized account deduction, with EFCC suspecting money laundering involvement.
“I was the one who applied for his bail, and I made an undertaking to produce him anytime he is needed. His phone and car are still with EFCC,” Adeyanju stated while expressing admiration for the anti-graft chairman. The bail was reportedly granted without conditions on Wednesday after four days in detention.
