JAMB has unveiled a Candidate Counselling Emergency Support Centre for over 300,000 candidates retaking the 2025 UTME, offering help via its portal and hotline.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has launched a Candidate Counselling Emergency Support Centre (CCESC) for candidates resitting the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

JAMB stated that the initiative complements the existing ticketing system on candidates’ portals, which allows them to report issues such as exam clashes or printing errors.

“For the 2025 UTME Exam rewrite candidates, simply go to [www.jamb.gov.ng](http://www.jamb.gov.ng) and select Quicklinks. Select Ticketing/Support,” the board posted on X. “Once you have been authenticated… you will get a prompt response.”

JAMB also released a support hotline, 07002200016, and listed officials including Gbenga, Yusuf, Dubem, Tony, Ogbonna, and Emma to assist candidates.

Over 300,000 students are retaking the exam due to technical glitches. JAMB added that it has engaged WAEC to adjust exam dates, though candidates remain concerned over pending announcements.

The resit began Friday nationwide, with JAMB urging affected candidates to seek timely support.
