The All Progressives Congress (APC) North-West zone on Saturday endorsed President Bola Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election.
The motion, moved by House Speaker Tajudeen Abas and seconded by Kebbi Governor Nasir Idris, expressed full confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and bid for a second term.
Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, the APC North-West Coordinating Governor, read a communique on behalf of stakeholders, also granting automatic second-term tickets to all APC governors in the zone for 2027 governorship elections.
The meeting, held in Kaduna, saw overwhelming support from key party figures including National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, and ministers Atiku Bagudu and Balarabe Lawal. Representatives from Katsina and Sokoto states also participated.
The show of unity reinforces the zone’s commitment to Tinubu’s presidency.
