We will take concrete actions if Israel does not halt its military operations

The United Kingdom, France, and Canada have issued a joint warning to Israel, threatening “concrete actions” if it continues intensified military operations in Gaza, BBC reported Monday.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney urged Israel to “stop its military operations” and “immediately allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza,” citing an “intolerable” humanitarian crisis following an 11-week blockade.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the criticism, accusing the leaders of “rewarding Hamas” and insisting ceasefire calls would “embolden further attacks.”

While Netanyahu said Israel would allow a “basic amount of food,” the joint statement deemed it “wholly inadequate” and potentially a breach of international humanitarian law.

The United Nations echoed concerns, calling aid access “a drop in the ocean.”

The statement also condemned rhetoric about forced displacement and urged Hamas to release remaining hostages.

The leaders reaffirmed support for a two-state solution, which Netanyahu rejected, citing Donald Trump’s vision for peace.
