The new rates range from N875 to N905 per litre depending on location.

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a N15 reduction in petrol pump prices across Nigeria, with new rates ranging between N875 and N905 per litre. This was disclosed on Thursday via the refinery’s official social media platforms.

According to the updated pricing template, Lagos residents will now pay N875 per litre, down from N890.

Prices in the South-West are pegged at N885, while the North-East and South-South will pay N905. Central and North-West regions will pay N895.

Partner marketers—MRS, Ardova, Heyden, Optima Energy, Techno Oil, and Hyde Energy—have been instructed to implement the new rates.

“Our quality petrol and diesel are refined for better engine performance and are environmentally friendly,” the refinery said.

The price cut follows the return of a refund benefit policy and large-scale petrol importation, with over 496 million litres brought in recently.

Group Chief Branding Officer Anthony Chiejina affirmed the company’s commitment to stabilising prices despite global market fluctuations.
