Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Napoli last year after failing to join Chelsea in the closing stages of the transfer window.

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly agreed to join Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal, ending speculation over a potential move to Premier League clubs Chelsea or Manchester United. The 26-year-old, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has been in stellar form, netting 36 goals in 40 appearances this season. Al-Hilal are prepared to trigger his €75 million release clause to secure his services.

According to Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadh, Osimhen has agreed to a three-year deal with Al-Hilal, who aim to include him in their squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup. The Nigerian forward, who helped Galatasaray secure a domestic double, was previously linked with Chelsea and Manchester United but will now head to the Middle East.

The move marks another high-profile signing for the Saudi Pro League, which has attracted several top stars in recent years. Osimhen’s decision follows talks with Al-Hilal, with the club eager to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season.
