The late pilgrim was from Jattu Uzairue in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo and passed away on Monday at the King Fahad General Hospital, Makkah.
A 75-year-old Edo State pilgrim, Mrs. Adizatu Dazumi, has passed away in Saudi Arabia during the 2025 Hajj. The deceased, from Jattu Uzairue in Etsako West LGA, fell ill after performing Tawaaf (circumambulation of the Kaaba) and was admitted to King Fahad General Hospital, Makkah, where she died on Monday.
“In line with Islamic tradition, she was buried in Makkah on the same day,” said Malam Musah Uduimoh, Chairman of the Edo Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, confirming that her family had been notified .
