Airtel Nigeria has revealed its AI-powered Spam Alert Service intercepted over 9.6 million suspicious SMS messages between March and May 2025. The telecom giant disclosed that 528,080 messages originated from its network while 9.1 million came from external sources, highlighting widespread spam threats.
“We’re invested in intelligent systems that detect threats and evolve with data,” Airtel stated, emphasizing its commitment to customer safety in digital communications.
