Trump offers Canada free ‘Golden Dome’, but only if it becomes part of the U.S

It will cost ZERO DOLLARS if they become our cherished 51st State

Former U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Canada can join his proposed “Golden Dome” missile defense system for free—if it agrees to become the 51st U.S. state.

Otherwise, participation would cost Canada $61 billion, Trump said on Truth Social. “I told Canada, which very much wants to be part of our fabulous Golden Dome System, that it will cost $61 Billion Dollars if they remain a separate, but unequal, Nation,” he posted. “But it will cost ZERO DOLLARS if they become our cherished 51st State. They are considering the offer!”

Canada has shown interest in the missile shield, unveiled last week by Trump, which he claims will be operational by 2029 at a cost of $175 billion.

Prime Minister Mark Carney confirmed “high level” talks but rejected Trump’s statehood suggestion, saying Canada was “never for sale.”
