Manchester United may sign Bryan Mbeumo after agreeing to sell Alejandro Garnacho to AC Milan for around £50 million. Brentford coach Thomas Frank said, “If the right price—and that’s going to be expensive—is coming, then I’m sure the club will be open for it.”
Manchester United’s summer transfer plans have been boosted by the likely sale of Alejandro Garnacho, which could fund the signing of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford. Garnacho, reportedly not fitting Ruben Amorim’s system, is attracting interest from AC Milan, who have reportedly opened talks with a £50 million offer, close to United’s valuation.
Bryan Mbeumo, who scored 20 Premier League goals this season, is rated between £50 million and £60 million and is being tracked by United alongside Newcastle and Arsenal.
Brentford manager Thomas Frank told Sky Sports, “If the right price—and that’s going to be expensive—is coming, then I’m sure the club will be open for it.”
Frank added, “I know that Bryan is very happy being here at Brentford… But at the same time, we have to reinforce that there are 10 clubs in the world who aren’t selling clubs.”
United need reinforcements after a disappointing season, and Mbeumo’s signing would provide a key boost as they look to rebuild under Amorim.
