Dozens of WASSCE candidates at Government Secondary School, Namnai, narrowly escaped death Wednesday when their classrooms collapsed during a violent windstorm. Students, teachers, NYSC members, and exam supervisors were trapped in the rubble before local residents mounted a frantic rescue operation. Several students sustained fractures and other injuries, now being treated at a nearby Primary Healthcare Centre.
