Neymar remains undecided about his future with Santos, saying, “I still don’t know… I’ll only decide after the 12th [June].” The Brazil star, recovering from injuries, faces a crucial choice as his contract expires at the end of June.
Brazil star Neymar is on the road to recovery from recent injuries but remains uncertain about his future with boyhood club Santos. Having signed a short-term deal in January after leaving Saudi club Al-Hilal, Neymar’s contract will expire on June 30, prompting a major decision on whether to stay or seek new challenges.
“I still don’t know… I’ll only decide after the 12th [June],” Neymar told Brazilian media following Santos’ recent match.
His father and agent, Neymar da Silva Santos, confirmed talks have yet to begin. “We haven’t decided anything… renewal depends on several factors. Santos has complete freedom to accept Neymar or not,” he said.
Santos want Neymar to stay until the 2026 World Cup, but the striker has options elsewhere as he aims to regain form and secure a national team
spot.
