Katie Miller, wife of influential White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, is reportedly leaving her role with the DOGE group to work full-time for tech billionaire Elon Musk

Katie Miller, the wife of senior Trump adviser Stephen Miller, is leaving her role at the White House’s cost-cutting DOGE initiative to join Elon Musk’s team, CNN reported this week. Miller, who served as a spokeswoman and advisor for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), will now assist Musk in managing media engagements, according to sources familiar with the move.

Miller was initially brought into the Trump administration as a “Special Government Employee,” a temporary position limited to 130 days. Her departure from DOGE was expected as the term concluded. The shift to Musk’s orbit suggests an expansion of her work in communications, potentially coordinating high-profile interviews for the SpaceX and Tesla CEO.

Musk has been actively engaging with media this week, including discussions on SpaceX’s latest rocket launch—a sign that Miller may already be influencing his press strategy. The move underscores the continued intersection of political and tech circles, with a key Trump insider now aligning with one of the world’s most influential entrepreneurs.
