Former Abia State Governor Orji Uzor Kalu has revealed he donated $1 million to ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo’s campaign and N500 million to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during its formation in 1998. Speaking on Channels TV’s Politics Today, the senator recalled: “Dollar was $84 then. I gave Obasanjo over $1 million and the party N500 million.
