Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation, says the Bola Tinubu-led administration has achieved more in two years than any previous government.

Speaking in Abuja at the inaugural national dialogue on citizen engagement and national security organised by the Voice of Nigeria, Idris said: “Just last week, we commemorated the second anniversary of the Tinubu administration with ample proof of its monumental positive impact.”

He highlighted key achievements such as ending fuel subsidies, overhauling forex policy, road infrastructure, the students’ loan scheme, and the launch of CreditCorp.

“After a stormy start, food prices are falling, while the creation of ministries for regional development and livestock signals new direction,” he added.

Idris also linked national security to trust. “Our greatest weapon is not force. It is trust between the governed and those who govern,” he said.

He urged stakeholders to act on dialogue outcomes and praised VON for promoting national unity and cohesion.
