“They should initiate a formal investigation of his immigration status because I am of the strong belief that he is an illegal alien, and he should be deported from the country immediately.” – Bannon

Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon has called on the Trump administration to investigate Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s immigration status and consider deportation.

In a phone interview with The New York Times, Bannon stated, “They should initiate a formal investigation of his immigration status because I am of the strong belief that he is an illegal alien, and he should be deported from the country immediately.”

Bannon also suggested that the government examine Musk’s alleged drug use, referencing recent reports by the New York Times.

The remarks come amid escalating tensions between Musk and former President Donald Trump, particularly over the administration’s tax and spending bill, dubbed the “Big Beautiful Bill.”

Musk has criticized the bill for removing electric vehicle subsidies, which directly impact Tesla.

The feud highlights growing divisions within conservative circles regarding immigration policies and the influence of tech industry leaders.
