Keke Senior High School, Ifako-Ijaiye, has emerged winner of the 2025 Akintola Williams Youth Debate Competition, held in Lagos. The event featured students from 12 secondary schools nationwide.
Keke clinched the top prize, receiving a trophy and a brand-new laptop. Rainbow College, Surulere, placed second, earning tablets and a trophy, while Oriwu Senior Model College, Ikorodu, came third with mobile phones and a trophy.
Sapphire Ekeng of Rainbow College was named Best Speaker. She and the top student from Keke were awarded internships with the British Council and a chance to appear on a radio programme.

The annual event honours late Akintola Williams and promotes youth development. Sponsors included NEM Insurance, Scib Nigeria, and the British Council. The N-BA continues to support youth empowerment and Nigeria-UK relations.
