Aliyu Audu, Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Public Affairs, has resigned from his position effective immediately.
In a resignation letter dated June 8 and addressed to the President’s Chief of Staff, Audu expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve, stating: “It has been an honor to contribute to the public communication efforts of this administration.” He also thanked former presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale for recommending his appointment in August 2023.
While the Presidency has yet to comment on the resignation, Audu assured continued prayers for Tinubu’s leadership and Nigeria’s progress. His departure comes amid ongoing efforts to bolster the administration’s communication strategy.
