Mossad has released video evidence of missiles being launched from a secret base inside Iran as part of Friday’s unprecedented airstrikes.
Newly released footage from Israel’s Mossad shows agents launching missiles from a covert drone base hidden inside Iran, The Times of Israel reports. The video captures the moment two operatives fired missiles as part of a major Israeli assault on Friday that killed top Iranian commanders and targeted nuclear and missile sites.
Israel’s military said 200 fighter jets struck about 100 sites, marking Iran’s most severe attack since its war with Iraq in the 1980s. The operation, dubbed “Rising Lion,” was years in the making and involved smuggling drones, missiles, and commandos into Iran.
Iran retaliated by launching over 100 drones, which Israel claimed were intercepted outside its airspace.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended the strikes: “This is a clear and present danger to Israel’s very survival.”
Iran accused Israel of targeting residential areas, while Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed revenge.
Former U.S. President Donald Trump praised the assault as “excellent,” warning: “There’s more to come.”
