The EFCC has declared Seun Ogunbambo, MD of Fargo Petroleum and Gas Limited, wanted for defrauding Nigeria of ₦976.65 million via false fuel subsidy claims. In a notice on Friday, EFCC said Ogunbambo jumped bail during his trial at a Lagos High Court and has since disappeared.
He was being prosecuted with Mamman Ali and Christian Taylor, who were both convicted on May 27, 2025, and sentenced to 14 years each. “The suspect vanished after being granted bail and has since failed to appear in court,” said EFCC spokesman Dele Oyewale, warning the public not to aid the fugitive.
