The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Vance L. Boelter, the suspect in the shootings of two Democratic lawmakers in Minnesota.

Authorities say Boelter allegedly posed as a police officer and opened fire on Assemblywoman Melissa Hortman, State Senator John Hoffman, and their spouses early Saturday morning. Hortman and her husband, Mark, were killed in the attack, while Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and underwent emergency surgery. They are now in stable condition.

The FBI has urged the public not to approach Boelter and to call 911 with any tips. A manifesto believed to be authored by the suspect listed additional targets, including Governor Tim Walz and Representative Ilhan Omar. Officials say Boelter, who works in private security and claims military-style training, was seen hours later at a local business wearing a cowboy hat. He remains at large.
