Netanyahu told ABC News that targeting Iran’s Supreme Leader would “end the conflict” and insisted Israel’s actions are “in service of humanity.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told ABC News that targeting Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei would not escalate but instead “end the conflict” between Israel and Iran. “We’ve had half a century of conflict spread by this regime,” he said, accusing Iran of fostering terrorism and nearing nuclear capability. “What Israel is doing is preventing this.”

When asked whether Israel would target Khamenei directly, Netanyahu said, “We’re doing what we need to do,” referencing previous hits on top nuclear scientists. He warned, “Today, it’s Tel Aviv. Tomorrow, it’s New York,” asserting that Iran poses a threat to global security.

Dismissing reports of Iran seeking negotiations, Netanyahu claimed Tehran’s diplomacy is a façade to buy time. He also addressed U.S. critics like Tucker Carlson, saying, “We’re not just fighting our enemy. We’re fighting your enemy.”

Meanwhile, the U.S. State Department has issued a “Do Not Travel” advisory for all of Israel and the West Bank, citing escalating tensions in the region.
