The U.S. is signaling possible military action against Iran, with Trump warning Tehran and deploying the USS Nimitz, fighter jets, and refueling planes to the Middle East.

Today (Tuesday), the White House posted on X, quoting President Trump: “Iran should have signed the ‘deal’ I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!”

This statement reflects Trump’s consistent public stance, reiterated across multiple sources, that Iran must be prevented from developing nuclear weapons at all costs. This aligns with his broader “maximum pressure” campaign, which he reinstated in February 2025 via a National Security Presidential Memorandum, aiming to deny Iran nuclear capabilities through economic sanctions and military posturing.

Trump’s rhetoric has oscillated between advocating for diplomacy and issuing threats of military action. For instance, he has pushed for a new nuclear deal since taking office in January 2025, offering Iran a chance to negotiate while warning of severe consequences, including potential U.S. or Israeli strikes, if talks fail.

His administration’s proposal, as reported by The New York Times on June 3, 2025, allows Iran to continue low-level uranium enrichment for civilian purposes during an interim period, but the ultimate goal is to eliminate Iran’s enrichment capacity entirely, a condition Iran has rejected.

As Iran passed the 60 day limit Trump had given them to come to a deal regarding their nuclear weapons ambitions, Trump has changed his tune.

He sent the USS Nimitz and its accompanying strike group to the Middle East. They have crossed the Singapore Strait and are now en route to the Persian Gulf, according to military tracking sources. The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier is expected to arrive in the region within the next two to three days.

Today, he said he has no patience for negotiating with them. Then the White House published the article about how he has always maintained they shouldn’t have a nuclear weapon.

After the White House article, Trump posted the following strange message from Mike Huckabee to his Truth Social account, in which Huckabee told him: “You don’t choose the moment, the moment chooses you. Listen to the voice of God and you’ll know what to do.”

Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana held a high-level meeting with U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee, thanking him and President Donald Trump for what he described as “bold leadership and decisive actions” that have helped protect Israeli lives amid the escalating conflict with Iran.

Ohana tweeted that the efforts by the U.S. administration have directly supported Israel’s campaign to prevent the Ayatollah regime from acquiring a nuclear weapon. ‘If there’s one thing Khamenei should know, it is this: You will never have nuclear weapons. There is no daylight between Israel and the United States on this matter,’ Ohana wrote.

Quoting Trump’s recent remarks, he reiterated: “Iran having a nuclear weapon—that’s not peace.” Ohana concluded by endorsing Trump’s longstanding approach: “Peace through strength is the only way to go.”

Sending the Nimitz, plus White House article, plus the message, plus the U.S. deployment of F-22s and F-35s, plus reports that the US is now sending some 15 refueling aircraft to the Middle East, point more and more to the probability of nearing escalation, and of the US joining Israel’s fight against Iran’s nuclear weapons capabilities.

Only time will tell what’s coming, but this we know for sure, we are living in historic times.
