Lagos Police spokesman, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that Adefarasin turned himself in at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja on Tuesday with his lawyer.
Detectives in Lagos have begun interrogating Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock after a viral video surfaced showing him allegedly wielding a firearm.
The 10-second clip, shared by a content creator known for filming exotic cars, showed a Range Rover pulling up. The pastor reportedly flashed a gun after the videographer saluted him.
Lagos Police spokesman, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that Adefarasin turned himself in at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja on Tuesday with his lawyer. “Pastor Paul Adefarasin has turned himself in… and is currently being interrogated by detectives,” Hundeyin said, adding that investigations are ongoing.
During a Sunday sermon, the 62-year-old pastor denied the allegation. “I was shocked and deeply hurt by the false claims,” he said. “This was the work of clickbaiters chasing money—truth was never their goal.” He also stated, “I do not have a pistol license. I do not carry a gun. The accusation is completely false.”
