Amid intensifying Israeli strikes inside Iran, senior Pentagon sources told Al Jazeera today that U.S. B-52 strategic bombers are now stationed at Diego Garcia, a key American base in the Indian Ocean — well within range of targets across Iran.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the U.S. is actively considering direct military involvement in the conflict, including support for a potential Israeli strike on the Fordow underground nuclear enrichment facility.

Fox News has independently confirmed that the Pentagon has moved additional combat aircraft into the Middle East and is expanding its regional air asset deployment.

Two senior Israeli officials told journalist Barak Ravid that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and the Israeli security establishment believe that President Trump is likely to enter the war in the coming days — with a direct strike on Fordow now viewed as a serious option.

U.S. officials speaking to i24NEWS added that if America joins the war, it won’t be symbolic:

“This would be a significant strike operation. The primary target would be Fordow.”
