A new J.L. Partners poll shows that 65% of MAGA Republicans support U.S. strikes on Iranian military sites amid Israel’s ongoing conflict with Tehran. This surpasses support among traditional Republicans (51%) and GOP voters overall (58%).

“This poll makes clear: the Republican base is not isolationist… Israel’s fight [is seen] as America’s fight,” said James Johnson, co-founder of J.L. Partners.

President Trump enjoys strong backing, with 95% of his 2024 voters approving his performance and 84% approving his handling of the conflict.

Despite division among MAGA figures like Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon, Trump has supported Israel and hinted at potential action, saying, “I may do it, I may not do it.”

A majority of Republicans see Iran’s nuclear ambition as a shared threat. “A nuclear-armed Iran cannot be allowed,” 73% of Americans agreed.

The poll surveyed 1,039 voters June 16–17, with a 3-point margin of error nationally.
