Amid rumors Hulk Hogan is on his deathbed, the wrestling legend’s rep shared an update on his health.
Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan’s representatives have dismissed claims by Florida radio host “Bubba the Love Sponge” that the 71-year-old WWE Hall of Famer was critically ill and “nearing death.”
A spokesperson confirmed Hogan underwent a planned medical procedure but stressed he is recovering well. “He is by no means on his deathbed and has already regained mobility,” the representative said. The hospitalization followed a minor neck fusion surgery last month to address chronic nerve pain, with Hogan reportedly experiencing a “quick turnaround.”
Bubba had claimed, “I got some pretty reliable information… they might not make it,” but Hogan’s camp called the reports unfounded. Wrestling veteran Eric Bischoff noted Hogan regained feeling in his hands post-surgery, signaling improved nerve function.
The wrestling icon, who has dealt with long-term back and neck issues, remains active in public life despite retiring from in-ring competition.
