Africans being denied access to the bunker shelters in Israel.
It’s disheartening to admit, but if recolonization efforts were attempted today, many within our own ranks, including some African elites and media figures, might support it.

A CNN report reveals many Palestinian towns lack shelters, while others face exclusion despite rising threats.
As the conflict between Israel and Iran intensifies, reports indicate that Palestinians and migrant workers are being systematically denied access to bomb shelters. In Tamra, a Palestinian town with 37,000 residents, only 40% have access to shelters or fortified rooms. CNN reports that many Arab towns lack public shelters altogether.
According to The New Arab, some Arab communities are labelled “open areas,” meaning Israel’s Iron Dome does not intercept missiles overhead, leaving civilians exposed.
A viral video on X, posted by far-right activist Sheffi Paz, showed African migrants crammed in a shelter, with Paz admitting that “residents will be left outside” during future alarms.
Reports also indicate that Thai and Indian workers—vital to Israel’s agricultural workforce—are frequently denied shelter access despite extended visas and wage bonuses.
The exclusion extends even to poor Israeli settlers in underprivileged areas, highlighting a broader inequality.
Critics argue this reinforces Israel’s apartheid-like conditions and raises serious humanitarian and human rights concerns in the ongoing conflict.
