U.S. President Donald Trump has delayed a decision on potential U.S. involvement, with Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt quoting him as saying he would decide “within the next two weeks.”
Israel bombed Iranian nuclear and missile sites on Thursday, prompting Iran to retaliate with missile and drone strikes, including one that hit a hospital in Beersheba.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that Tehran’s “tyrants” would pay the “full price” for the attack.

“Iran has all that it needs to achieve a nuclear weapon,” Leavitt added. Israel said it struck facilities in Natanz, Isfahan, and the Arak reactor. Iran denied pursuing nuclear weapons and claimed its targets were military and intelligence sites near the hospital.
An Israeli official called the hospital strike “state-sponsored terror.”
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said they hit sites in Haifa and Tel Aviv. Iran also warned of a shift in strategy if a “third party” joins the conflict.
Meanwhile, both sides continue exchanging deadly airstrikes amid rising regional tensions.
