Napoli striker Victor Osimhen recently recounted a memorable encounter with Cristiano Ronaldo during the Portuguese star’s time at Juventus in 2021. Speaking to Daddy Freeze, Osimhen revealed he waited an hour after a Serie A match to get a selfie with the football legend.
“I said to him, ‘Chris, I would like to take a picture with you.’ He said, ‘Yeah, come to the dressing room,’” Osimhen said.
Following Napoli’s 1-0 win over Juventus, Osimhen went to the Juventus dressing room, still in his match kit, and was directed by Gianluigi Buffon to wait as Ronaldo was working out.
“Buffon saw me, came to me, and asked what I wanted. He went to the gym and told me Ronaldo was working out, told me to sit with him,” Osimhen recalled.
Eventually, Ronaldo appeared and posed for multiple photos. “He said, ‘Great game, just keep on going,’ and I shook his hand,” Osimhen added.
