Atiku Abubakar joined Obasanjo, Gowon, Shettima, and other top Nigerian figures to celebrate Adamu Muazu at 70. He recalled their years of collaboration in government.
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has met with prominent Nigerian leaders including ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, Vice President Kashim Shettima, former Head of State Yakubu Gowon, and ex-Kaduna governor Nasir El-Rufai. Also present were NNPP leader Rabiu Kwankwaso and several other distinguished Nigerians.
The gathering took place on Saturday during the 70th birthday celebration of former Bauchi State governor and ex-PDP National Chairman, Adamu Muazu.
Atiku, in a post on X, wrote: “Yesterday, I joined my boss, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Head of State Yakubu Gowon, and Vice President Kashim Shettima, along with many other prominent Nigerian leaders, in paying tribute to Alhaji Ahmadu Adamu Muazu…”
He added: “As Vice President of Nigeria between 1999 and 2007, I worked with Mu’azu and other governors… to lay the foundation for good governance and a private sector-led economic growth…”
He congratulated Muazu and wished him “many more years in good health and vitality.”
