“I just feel like I contributed to this country’s problems by bringing the evil Tinubu into power…”
Former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has publicly distanced himself from the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressing regret over supporting President Bola Tinubu.
“I just feel like I contributed to this country’s problems by bringing the evil Tinubu into power. I should do the last lap by removing Tinubu,” El-Rufai said on Arise News’ PrimeTime on Monday.
He criticized the APC’s leadership, citing widespread dissatisfaction. “Nigerians are tired of the APC. 91 per cent of citizens disapprove of it,” he stated.
El-Rufai revealed he is part of a new coalition under the proposed All Democratic Alliance (ADA), uniting figures from various political camps. “Everybody has their group… I am not representing SDP,” he clarified.
He added, “Nigeria is ruled by urban bandits, so we want to drive them away.”
Cautioning Nigerians, El-Rufai said, “Don’t trust what I say… Check if the person I pick will be better than the previous person.”
