Football legend to appear in court following drink driving arrest
Former England and Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince has been charged with drink driving following a collision in Cheshire on Saturday. The 57-year-old was arrested after his black Range Rover struck a central reservation barrier on Chester High Road in Neston.
Cheshire Police confirmed the incident occurred around 5pm near Heswall Golf Club, a location Ince has frequently featured on his social media. Officers attended the scene and arrested Ince, who was later released on bail.
“Paul Ince, of Neston, has since been charged with drink driving,” a police spokesperson said. “He has been bailed to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Friday 18 July.”
