Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has announced a ₦3 million reward for information leading to the identification of two users on X (formerly Twitter) who allegedly issued death threats against Peter Obi’s family.
One threat was traced to the handle “@olorilAlayiuwa,” which posted a photo of a woman in traditional attire with the caption: “You see this woman? P.O. will bury her with her children.” The post, interpreted as targeting Obi’s wife and children, has since been removed. Omokri referenced a second threat with fewer details.
“I’m offering ₦1.5 million for each culprit. Reverend Emmanuel Ojeifo Omokugbo will verify tips and disburse funds,” Omokri said, promising to protect informants’ identities.
Recalling threats against his own daughter, he added, “Political disagreements must not become personal attacks.”
