Sean “Diddy” Combs was convicted Tuesday of two counts of prostitution-related Mann Act violations but acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges in a high-profile federal trial in New York.

Jurors deliberated for 13 hours over three days before clearing the hip-hop mogul on the most serious counts that could have carried a life sentence.

“My proposal would be that he be released today, that he be permitted to live at his home in Florida,” defense attorney Marc Agnifilo told the judge, requesting bond.

Assistant US Attorney Maurene Comey opposed, arguing Combs “still convicted of serious crimes” deserving a “lengthy period of incarceration.”

Prosecutors alleged Combs coerced women into humiliating, drug-fueled sex acts. Combs’ team maintained he led a consensual “swinger” lifestyle.

“He thought that his fame, wealth and power put him above the law — but over the course of this trial, his crimes have been exposed,” Assistant US Attorney Christy Slavik told jurors.
