Since assuming office in 2023, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has visited 20 countries to strengthen diplomatic ties and attract investments. While the presidency defends these trips as necessary, critics have raised concerns over their cost amid Nigeria’s economic challenges.
Labour Party’s Peter Obi notably criticised Tinubu’s trip to Saint Lucia.
