Victor Osimhen has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Turkish giants Galatasaray
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly urged Napoli to progress swiftly with Galatasaray over a permanent transfer, having already struck personal terms with the Turkish club. The 26-year-old is set to sign a three-year contract, with an option for a fourth, after scoring an impressive 37 goals in 41 appearances during his loan spell this season.
Napoli have maintained that the full €75 million release clause must be honoured upfront, despite Galatasaray’s proposal to pay in instalments. The Turkish champions, however, are prepared to meet Napoli’s valuation and have already submitted a formal bid.
Osimhen, who rejected moves to Saudi Arabia, is firmly set on staying in Istanbul. According to reports, he has “verbally agreed to a three-year deal” with Galatasaray. The clubs are now working to finalise financial guarantees ahead of sealing the deal, which could be completed before the end of the week.
